29 Feb Mental health matters!
Our foundation team participated in an inspiring conference dedicated to the mental health of children and youth, as well as the accessibility of education. This event marked the inauguration of the project “Supporting Access to Education for Children and Youth.”
Barbara Nowacka, the Minister of Education who was present at the event, emphasized the lack of preventive actions over the past eight years to prevent mental health crises among the youngest. She expressed the urgent need for action in this matter and thanked everyone for understanding the need to repair education and create a safe school environment.
Among the participants were also ministers, parliamentarians, specialists, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. They discussed systemic support for the mental health of the youngest. The IBE project entitled “Supporting Access to Education for Children and Youth” and other initiatives in this area were presented. Four priorities of action were emphasized: promoting mental health, prevention, support in crisis situations, and assistance in recovery.
This important event marks another step towards building a support system for the mental health of children and youth, which is crucial for their proper development. Together, we can make significant changes for future generations!
