Great Charity Auction TOP CHARITY 2024 – Triumph of Art and Charity

Omenaa Foundation proudly announces the tremendous success of the Grand Charity Auction TOP CHARITY 2024. Thanks to the commitment and generosity of our wonderful donors, we managed to raise an astounding amount of 45,917,000 PLN, making our auction the largest charity event of its kind in Europe.

Art that Changes Lives

The auction took place in the picturesque courtyard of King Jan III Sobieski’s Palace in Wilanów, attracting nearly 500 guests from all over Europe. Fifteen unique works of art and ten exclusive experiences from the Great Emotions category were auctioned. Thanks to the careful selection by the Artistic Council, consisting of Iwona Büchner-Grzesiak, Rafał Kamecki, Boris Kudlička, Kama Zboralska, and Omenaa Mensah, guests had the opportunity to acquire true art treasures. The highest bid was for Igor Mitoraj’s sculpture “Torso alato,” which sold for an impressive 6,800,000 PLN.

Transparency and Professionalism

For the first time in the history of the auction, the independent auditor was EY Polska, ensuring the highest standard of transparency and professionalism. Jacek Piotrowski from Polswiss Art Auction House and the Artinfo.pl portal oversaw the smooth running of the auction, contributing to its spectacular success.

Inspiring Accompanying Events

The auction was accompanied by the ChangeMakers 2024 Business Conference, where key contemporary challenges such as the cooperation of business and art and the role of philanthropy were discussed. Among the panelists were Secretary of State Jacek Siewiera and the US Ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski. A special moment was the speech by Phyllis Newhouse, founder of ShoulderUp Technology Acquisition Corp, which touched the hearts of the participants and emphasized the importance of collective action for a better world.

Polish Business for a Good Cause

Omenaa Mensah, president of the Omenaa Foundation, along with Rafał Brzoska, emphasize that thanks to the support of the business and artistic community, this event has become not only a philanthropic success but also an important point on the cultural map of Europe. The funds raised will support children and youth, showing that art and charity can go hand in hand, creating a better future for all of us.
