A small fiat worth nearly 200 thousand PLN. Omenaa Mensah’s charity auction success

A record amount of 199,100 PLN was achieved by a Fiat 126p BIS auctioned for charity by Omenaa Mensah’s foundation. The proceeds from the auction will go towards helping children affected by road accidents and domestic violence.

– This is not just a car, it’s a piece of art. Certainly it will become a legend and its value will surpass the auction price
– said Omenaa Mensah, president of the Omenaa Foundation.

This exceptional car donated to the Omenaa Foundation by Rafał Sonik, philanthropist, rally driver, and multiple time Polish and world champion, is not only a tribute to Polish automotive history but also a work of art. The artistic design was created by Mariusz Waras, known as M-City, one of the most prominent figures in global street art.

The auction winner will not only become the owner of this artistic gem but will also receive an invitation to a special lunch with Omenaa Mensah and Rafał Sonik.

The car was auctioned in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Omenaa Mensah’s foundation, which holds a special sentiment for this model.

– The small fiat was my first car. I used to drive it to tutoring sessions, covering hundreds of kilometers, even in the hottest summers – recalls the founder and president of the Omenaa Foundation.

Among the enthusiasts of the Fiat 126p is also Hollywood actor Tom Hanks, as well as Rafał Sonik, the creator of the Great Small Fiat Journey for children affected by road accidents.

The Fiat 126p, a cultural symbol of Polish motoring, has been winning hearts worldwide for years, with its history dating back to the communist era in Poland. Produced until 2000, it was not only a family car but also a symbol of freedom, making it one of the most iconic vehicles in history.
