We want to share with you another incredible story made possible by the Omenaa Foundation and the Philanthropic Consortium. This time, the protagonist is Xawier Słupik, a 19-year-old who has lived for many years with a noticeable jaw deformity that caused not only aesthetic issues but also health problems – difficulties with breathing, clear speech, swallowing, and even closing his mouth.
As part of the Philanthropic Consortium initiative, we provided over 160,000 PLN for a jaw reconstruction using a fibula flap and jaw osteotomy. This complex procedure was undertaken by distinguished doctors: Adam Maciejewski (a recipient of the medical Oscar), Szymon Przywitowski, Łukasz Krakowczyk, and Rafał Nowak.
