Omenaa Sport & Art Campus

In 2024, Omenaa Foundation began the implementation of a key infrastructure project in Ghana — a holistic sports and arts centre located at Kids Haven School. Its goal is to create a safe and inspiring space for the comprehensive development of children, combining sport, education, and art with healthcare. The Omenaa Sport & Art Campus will feature, among others, football, basketball, and volleyball pitches, tennis courts, an athletics track, a motor preparation centre with changing rooms, a medical clinic, a psychological centre, and a café. This is a place where children will be able to spend their time actively, strengthen their body and mind, develop their talents, and learn cooperation and self-discipline.

The Omenaa Sport & Art Campus will also include a creative space for Ghanaian and international artists, who will carry out their projects here as part of artist residencies. The whole will be complemented by the Art Garden — a garden with space for six open-air sculptures. Omenaa Mensah plans to invite medical students and young doctors to the centre, who, on a voluntary basis, will provide children with comprehensive medical and psychological care. An important aspect of the centre's activities will be international cooperation — as part of residency programmes, the centre will host artists from around the world.

In June 2025, the first stage of construction was completed — the building of a football pitch with full technical facilities. One of the key moments of the inauguration of the Omenaa Sport & Art Campus construction was the cornerstone laying ceremony — a symbolic gesture marking the beginning of a project of immense social and educational significance. The event was attended by Omenaa Foundation president Omenaa Mensah, main contractor Prosper Mawufemor Godzo, as well as a group of invited guests and ambassadors of the complex, including Sylwia Dobrzycka - chairwoman of the Philanthropy Consortium, Ewa Chodakowska and Pops Mensah-Bonsu.

The opening of the facility is planned for 31 October 2026.
