Omenaa Mensah and Omenaa Foundation support Obama Presidential Center!

Omenaa Mensah, along with the Omenaa Foundation and OmenaArt Foundation, have joined as strategic partners in support of the Obama Presidential Center, a place to inspire, empower and connect people to create a better world together.
Omenaa Mensah has been building a network of global partnerships that combine culture, education and philanthropy. It is from this idea that the partnership between Omenaa Foundation, OmenaArt Foundation and Obama Foundation was born. The beginning of this unique collaboration was announced at a meeting at White Cube in London - one of the world's leading contemporary art galleries. The ceremony not only announced the signing of the agreement and the start of the collaboration with the Obama Foundation. Artists were also honored, including Julie Mehretu and the late Richard Hunt, whose works will enrich the permanent collection of the emerging Center.
- Our mission is to use culture and education as tools for social empowerment. Supporting the Obama Presidential Center by working together to promote art that inspires and activates people around the world is a natural extension of this idea ," said Omenaa Mensah.

Omenaa Mensah's activities and her commitment to promoting the arts were recognized by Jay Jopling - founder and president of the White Cube gallery. He stressed that the partnership between the Omenaa Foundation and the Barack Obama Foundation is proof that art can foster understanding, integration and progress.
- It is an honor to partner with the Omenaa Foundation and the Obama Foundation to present artists whose works will become part of the Obama Presidential Center legacy. Art has the power to unite and inspire change ," stressed Jay Jopling.

Obama Presidential Center mission
Barack Obama's dream was to create a meeting place in Chicago for world, national and local leaders, where history and art intersect to create a story of courage, empathy and action. The 19-acre complex will include a "Home Court" facility for sports, community programs and other events, an auditorium, a museum, a playground, a branch of the Public Library, recreational areas and art installations by artists from around the world.
- Obama Presidential Center will be a symbol of hope and a place that inspires action. It is a space created for the people and by the people with future generations in mind ," explained Dr. Louise Bernard, vice president of the Obama Foundation and director of the museum at the Obama Presidential Center.

The Center's art program is expected to be dynamic and open, as is its mission. In addition, the Center will showcase more than 25 works by artists from around the world, which will stand in public spaces on campus. The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago is scheduled to open in 2026.
