Ambassador Laura Ranalli's visit to Kids Haven School

This past Wednesday was a special day for the charges of Kids Haven School. On that day we were visited by Ambassador Laura Ranalli, who heads the Italian diplomatic mission in Accra. From early morning there was a joyful excitement among the children about the visit of such an inspiring guest. After the morning's activities, everyone was ready to welcome our guests with open arms. The most important thing for us was to create a cordial atmosphere and make sure that Mrs. Ambassador felt at home with us.

We welcomed Ms. Laura with music and dance - a gesture deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture as a sign of respect and hospitality. To the rhythm of the drums, we moved to the event space, where our irreplaceable Julia led the artistic part of the ceremony. The culminating moment was the joint listening of the Italian anthem, the sounds of which echoed throughout the Child Protection Center. Our students paid tribute to Italian history and traditions with full solemnity.

After the performances, it was time to get to know each other better - each child had the opportunity to introduce themselves to Mrs. Ambassador and present their disposition, their sensitivity and their way of being. Mrs. Laura welcomed us with great warmth, remembering many of the names of our charges, which caused great joy in the children.

We also managed to take a joint commemorative photo in front of the school - which perfectly shows the joyful atmosphere of the visit. Afterwards, Mrs. Ambassador had the opportunity to tour the school: our students showed the guests around Kids Haven School with real pride, showing their favorite areas, including the J-Labs Kids Academy computer room, the Wedel Relaxation Room and our psychology office.

During the walk, we talked briefly about the projects being implemented in Ghana, with a special focus on our biggest venture, the Kids Haven Sport & Art Complex, which will become a space for the development of sports talent and the integration of the local community.
