Helping Ukrainian children

"Only in long-term, wise action do we see sense, so we are working to create centers for Ukrainian mothers and children, for whom we want to create a safe place, with educational, psychological and legal support. We want to provide children with education, and women with professional activation," says Omenaa Mensah, President and Founder of the Omenaa Foundation.

We are currently creating such a pilot center in Warsaw, on Konstruktorska Street, in cooperation with Mondial Assistance, which has provided us with office space for the center. Our strategic partner is Ashoka Poland.

Work is underway to arrange and equip 5 rooms for children and 2 rooms for mothers. In total, we will be able to host about 100 people a day.

In addition, together with Teach for Poland, a foundation that works to bridge educational inequalities and improve the quality of the education system so that every child has a chance to discover and develop his or her potential, we are building a cadre of specialists - teachers, psychologists, animators - and creating an innovative educational program tailored to the needs of our charges.

Children from Ukraine will find interesting proposals for educational and developmental activities in our Center, younger children will be taken care of by qualified teaching staff and our super animators. For mothers, we will provide career counseling classes and assistance in effectively finding a job.

We want to provide all our residents with the best possible space and care from empathetic staff. Meals will also be served on site.

More companies are joining our project, friends of the Foundation, who support us in equipping the rooms, providing educational materials, multimedia, providing our kids with meals or toiletries.
