05 Jul The Great Fiat 126p Expedition has started!
The largest charitable automotive project in Poland has kicked off, supported by us under the Philanthropic Consortium! 80 Fiat 126p cars (including one of ours!), over 3000 km from Warsaw to Monte Cassino, and one million euros to be raised for children affected by road accidents. All this and much more is encompassed in this unique project!
What is the Great Fiat 126p Expedition about?
The Great Fiat 126p Expedition for Children aims to draw attention to road safety issues. It educates young generations on conscious participation in road traffic and assists children who need care due to accidents, both in terms of rehabilitation and psychological support and therapy.
Automotive Giants – Longin Bielak, Rafał Sonik, Sobiesław Zasada, Maciej Wisławski, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Bartosz Ostałowski – representing several generations of Polish driving masters, have set a common goal: to help children! On July 5th, they took the wheels of the Fiat 126p cars and embarked from Warsaw to Monte Cassino to raise funds for children affected by car accidents. Joining them were Internet Giants: Remigiusz “Rezi” Wierzgoń and his Thunder Crew.
The team executing the expedition determined that the most physically and psychologically affected group in road accidents are children. For them, as part of the Great Fiat 126p Expedition, funds are being raised on “Zrzutka.pl”, valuable items are auctioned, and micro-donations through Donateo and micro-donations are collected. All funds will be allocated to provide specialized assistance to children, victims of road accidents in Poland, but also for education.
