Second edition of Jazz Art Fashion Festival
On the 13th September 2014 there was the second edition of Jazz Art Fashion Festival in Wadowice. That kind of event connects art, fashion and music together. This year, we were able to place a charity aspect as well - Omenaa Foundation organized an auction. Its main aim was to collect the funds necessary for the realization of the project. As you may know, it concerns the building of the school for the children from Don Bosco in Ghana.
Between all the concerts, fashion shows and exhibitions there were auctions of works of art, outfits and many different things given away by Polish celebrities. We auctioned e.g. Marcin Suder’s photos, a dress designed by Łukasz Jemioł and Michał Starost and a t-shirt with Kuba Błaszczykowski’s autograph. However, the real icing on the cake was a sculpture of a Dutch artist Marianne Houtkamp called ‘’Rhythm’’. The inspiration was her journeys to Africa. The sculpture was sold for 40,000 PLN.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the event once again. The donors who donated so many things for auctions and those who took part as well, but in the first place we would like to thank an organizer of Jazz Art Fashion Festival - Mr. Piotr Chodak and Młyn Jacka Hotel in Wadowice. Thanks to you, we will probably be able to lay foundations of the school, and the smile on the children’s faces will never disappear! ☺
