Omenaa Mensah in Kenya

In March 2014, Omena Mensah was in Africa for the first time in her life. She visited Kenya, when she was getting to know African culture and the life of the traditional Africans. She visited a school on Funzi Island, where she gave the T-shirts designed especially for African children away to them. T-shirts, brand Ammadora, showed Omenaa’s love for Poland and Africa. The children also get many other school supplies, such us pencils, pens and copy-books. People on the Island live very modestly and their most common source of income is handcraft – they make scarves and fans. On the one bought by Omena there was an inscription in Swahili saying: “We are in peace, not in pieces”, which captures the main aim of Omenaa Foundation’s activity perfectly.
